Our son’s first year at sleep-away camp was a disaster. We did the research of camps on our own, and found out the hard way that we picked the wrong camp for our child. We were not the camp experts. Luckily, a friend referred us to “The Camp Experts.” Their name describes exactly what they are — experts. We discussed with them our problems from the first camp and they figured out exactly what type of camp would best suit our son. They were correct and he had the best summer ever. He is returning again next summer, and we are now sending our daughter too. We don’t know why anyone, who is sending their child to summer camp, would not use this service. It is a win-win situation. We anticipated that sending our child to sleep-away camp for the first time was going to be a rather daunting undertaking. How long should he go for? Where should he go? Will the offerings at the camp suit his social interests? There were many questions being asked. Luckily for us, we heard about CAMP EXPERTS. Without hesitation, they made recommendations to us and calls to camps. In a short time we were receiving literature and videos from several places. After previewing all the promotional materials, we made appointments to visit several of the facilities. After visiting the sites, and conferring with CAMP EXPERTS, we came to a decision. It couldn’t have been better!! Our child’s first sleep-away camp experience was simply amazing!!!. After his session was over, he insisted that we sign him up for the Summer of 2005. We have used Camp Experts UK to find activities for all three of our teenagers. They have helped us to find pre college options in the USA, work experience opportunities, teen travel sports camps. Camp Experts have been fantastic in their recommendations.

Liz was such an amazing advisor for us as we searched for the right camp for our son. She asked all the right questions and got to know both our son’s personalities and was able to recommend a number of great options. She continued to be an excellent resource as we explored the best fit, answering our questions and providing advice along the way- we felt comfortable knowing she had visited, spoken with the directors, and personally vetted each of the camps we considered. Will definitely continue working with her once our younger son is ready for sleep away!

You are now 2 for 2. Last year you helped us pick a sleep away camp for our younger son. He loved it as you know (and just completed his second summer there), but we had made the mistake of picking a sleep away camp for my older son based on a relative’s recommendation (and without checking with you). Unfortunately, while a nice, well known camp, it was a terrible fit for him and he had to come home early. This year with your advice, he had a great time at the new camp. In fact, even though we initially had signed him up for two weeks, at the end, he wanted to extend and then stayed for another two weeks. He was even thinking that he might have wanted to stay longer and is already asking to go back for next summer. What a difference! It was an unforgettable experience. I lived 3 weeks immersed in nature together with so many kids of  my age and from so many different countries. I came home with so many new friends and learned how to relate to cultures different from my own  I was able to do so many fun and useful activities that definitely enriched me.

Jacob is counseling at camp again in July! He LOVES his camp friends and was talking last week that although he is in a fraternity and has lots of friends and fun at school, the relationships are not as real as they are with his camp friends because the connections have so much more depth. It is crazy to think that without you steering him to camp and Wisconsin, life could have been sooooo different. We are truly thankful, Denise!

Liz is an extremely knowledgeable camp specialist and really took the time to understand what we were looking for in an overnight specialized sports camp for our son. Thank you for recommending the perfect camp for our kids—it was exactly what we were hoping for. They had the chance to try so many new activities they don’t normally have access to, from archery to ceramics to sailing.
