Let me introduce myself

I’m Sam Goldberg, the Engagement Director for Camp Experts, and I help families in Manhattan, Long Island, and Atlanta.

My first bunk

I spent 12 incredible summers at KenMont Camp, and 4 amazing summers at Camp Blue Ridge of Georgia. They both hold a very special place in my heart and I met many people that I consider family to this very day.

From camper to camp expert

I was previously a teacher at the Epstein School in Atlanta, and the Assistant Director at Camp Blue Ridge. This background gives me unique insight into how to help a child be their most successful at camp.‍

Why I love this job

I care very deeply for both the camp industry and the children and families that the industry serves. I believe that there is certain social and emotional development that happens at camp and cannot be replicated elsewhere, making it a unique experience that every child should have. This job is amazing because not every child will get the full benefit at every camp, so helping each family find the best fit furthers that child's development and makes a brighter camp culture for us all.
