I'm Heather Natter-Pasquale, your Camp Expert for families on Long Island, NY.

My first bunk

I spent 9 incredible summers at Camp Monroe, in upstate, NY. I loved growing up there, all the way through my high school years when I worked as a CIT. I cherish the relationships I still have with my camp friends.

From camper to camp expert

My background is as a School Psychologist. Having worked with countless families, I understand individual needs, which makes me a better Camp Advisor. I can help figure out which program would be a great match, leading to a great summer experience for years to come.

Ultimate camp highlight

My all-time favorite camp activity is the Talent Show! I believe its a chance for kids to show off their individuality, and feel enormous pride. Campers are applauded for their bravery and cheered for being exactly themselves.

Why I feel camp is a valuable experience

Camp is a place for kids to be kids-no pressure. The right program offers opportunities for kids to make true friendships, while growing more independent with strong life-skills.
