Let me introduce myself

I'm Pamela, the Camp Expert for Israel and the entire Middle East.

My first bunk

I spent 8 years at camps, first at day camps and then overnight.  None are in existence any more, but each made a very significant mark on my growing up.   From camp songs to the musicals in which I participated to swimming lessons which are most invaluable to me today, plus all the different skills that were taught over the many summers, I still have indelible memories.

From camper to camp expert

I was a ballet dancer and still a teacher, plus jewelry designer, mother of 4 and grandmother of 11.  My children went to camps and teen tours because of my love for summer programs suited to each ones' interests.  

Ultimate Camp Highlight

I loved participating in the musicals as well as the ballet performances at the different camps.  To this day I can sing all the songs from "The King and I" and "The Pajama Game"!!.

Why I love this job

Kids are growing up with screens in front of their faces day in and day out.  They are also  dependent on their parents for carpools to activities, dates with friends or going on outings, help with taking care of their rooms, meals, even clothing choices!  Camp gives the parents a break from all this and the kids a chance to learn to take care of themselves, make choices and have lots of new experiences--all in a safe environment.  I love helping both kids and parents optimize the summer vacations.
