I spent 5 summer at Camp Lohikan and 2 on Rein Teen Tours. I also worked as a counselor at day camps.

From camper to camp expert

I’m a stay at home mom with two very active sons who play lacrosse, football and basketball! I am always on the go with their team schedules and they keep me on my toes. I have a keen sense of which camps work best for different types of kids. With so many options out there, it can be an overwhelming journey but with the right guidance it can be fun finding the right fit.

My two sons attend Timber Lake Camp. This will be their second and sixth summer.

Why I feel camp is a valuable experience

Camp is completely device free and a way for kids to learn and grow on their own. No matter what their interests are, or which environment is best for them, it’s a chance for them to thrive there independently!
